B. Diploma in Education Humanities with credit majoring in History and Geography (Domasi College of Education).

Summary of Courses Studied:
History Courses: A detailed study of African, Western and Asian civilizations. Special focus was given on solving modern problems at international and local level using long jure.

Education Management and administration: Comprehensive study and an understanding of administration and of management with bias towards staff coordination, management, budgeting and decision-making in the running of a school or an organization as a profit-making institution or a social service.

Education Foundation Courses: A thorough study and understanding of the ethics of the teaching profession, ways of effective communication (especially using participatory methods), the relationship between education and development, and an in-depth analysis of gender issues and the impact of HIV/AIDS and poverty on education. Also studied psychological effects of HIV/AIDS and their impact on the both the infected and the affected.

Special English for Humanities: Tailored to equip students with skills and knowledge necessary for educators to effectively pass on ideas to people.

Geography Courses: A study of space and time. The courses equipped me with the skills needed for people to control space and time for socio-economic development of societies. Immerging issues such as conflict resolution and globalization were also studied.

March 2009- Present: Teacher- Mulunguzi Secondary School (Zomba).
Responsibilities- Form Teacher- Duties include overseeing student welfare, handling disputes between student and teachers as well as disputes between students, serving as an interface between the students and the administration, and ensuring that student understand, appreciates and abides by the school rules and regulations.
Patron for Project Citizen Club: Project Citizen is an international organization that aims at consolidating democracy world wide through participation at grass root level. In this context, secondary school students are involved policy formulation through research work. As a patron of the club, it is my obligation to teach my students research techniques and guide them in the whole process of identifying a problem, conducting a research, writing a report and presenting the report. At current the students have presented their first report on social cultural causes of destitute poverty in Malawi: a Case study of Likangala North.
Secretary OF Examination Committee -Duties include setting the program for examinations, budgeting for exam materials and overseeing the actual administration of examinations.
Teaching - Social Studies, History, and Geography.
Sports Master: Organizing and supervising sporting events of the school.

2010 Present: Author (geography) Chancellor College Publications. I have written a Geography Senior Secondary School Books with Chanco publications that will be published by October this year.

June 2005- July 2008: Teacher (History and Geography Voluntary Work)- Chingale Secondary School (Zomba)
Responsibilities: Teaching and overseeing student discipline and sports teacher.
2006 2007: Voluntary Teacher.

Ntchena-chena Zone Sports Committee Chairperson (voluntary Work). This work involved organizing and coordinating sport events in Ntchena-chena, raising funds for zone competitions and attending to disciplinary issues in ntchena-chena sports zone.
